After months of testing and real‑world trials in the same systems you use at home, we’re excited to announce that we will now be carrying FloraFlex V1, V2, B1, and B2. These new nutrients replace our previous products and bring major improvements in purity, consistency, and performance.
Why We’re Making the Switch
Our previous products served us well, but they came with limitations many growers felt firsthand:
- Single‑powder blends forced compromises in chemistry.
- Certain elements couldn’t be included at ideal ratios without causing clumping or instability.
- Purity standards were closer to general agricultural nutrients.
FloraFlex solves all of these issues with cleaner inputs and more precise formulations.
Higher Purity, Higher Standards
FloraFlex nutrients were originally developed for crops requiring extremely clean, consistent inputs. That means:
- Higher purity salts
- More rigorous testing
- Tighter quality control
- Better solubility and fewer impurities
This results in healthier roots, more stable reservoirs, and fewer unexplained issues in small home systems.
Why Two-Part Powders Matter
Each stage of growth now uses two powders instead of one:
- V1 + V2 for vegetative crops
- B1 + B2 for bloom and fruiting crops
This two-part approach prevents chemical conflicts and ensures every element stays available to your plants. Both parts must be used together to complete the nutrient profile, and they must be mixed in the correct order to avoid cloudiness or solids.
What This Means for Lettuce & Herb Growers
If you grow lettuce, basil, mint, cilantro, parsley, or other leafy herbs, you’ll simply use V1 + V2 from seed to harvest. No bloom nutrients required.
Growing Mixed Crops? Use the Nutrient Calculator
If your system includes both leafy greens and fruiting plants (like tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, or cucumbers), you’ll still start with V1 + V2, but you may need to introduce B1 + B2 as your fruiting plants begin to flower.
