How to Use the Calculator

Always fill your tank to full, then test your current EC reading. Enter that reading into your "Current EC" box. We highly recommend daily top-offs, as they help maintain stable nutrient levels and prevent fluctuations that could stress plants.

Enter your Target EC amount and click the Calculate button. This will determine the precise amount of nutrients you need to add to your system.

Measure out the provided results and add that amount directly to your system. Veg+Bloom or VBX dissolves readily and over time, so there is no need to mix it with water before adding.

How to Establish Your Base EC

1. To do this, add 1 gm of Veg+Bloom to 1 gallon of water. (IMPORTANT: Use the same water source you will be filling your tank with.)


2. Mix thoroughly and take an EC reading. This will be your Base EC per gram (ECPG). Record this value, as it will remain consistent unless a complete water change occurs. Even then, if you're using the same water source, the Base EC should remain stable with minimal variation.
