Whether you’re upgrading or just refresing a used system, this guide breaks everything down so it’s easy to follow and quick to implement—especially if you prefer not to rely on the app for water management.

🧼 Step 1: Deep Clean with Citric Acid

• Mix 1/2 cup of 100% pure citric acid with 1.5 gallons of warm water.
• Run the solution through the system for 30–60 minutes.
• Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove any residue.

Optionally: You can disassemble the system and soak your parts in the same solution.

🔄 Step 2: Replace Irrigation Lines

• Swap out all irrigation lines with fresh food-safe tubing.
• Check for kinks or blockages and ensure tight connections.

💡 Step 3: Test the Pump and Lights

• Plug in the pump and verify water circulation. If it’s noisy, weak, or inconsistent—replace it.
• Confirm lights are functioning and responsive via the app. These are typically more reliable than the pump.
